What are the acceptable file formats for me to upload my animation to LottieFiles?

Whether you’re uploading a finished Lottie animation or converting from other formats, LottieFiles supports a range of file types to help you get started quickly. Here’s what you can upload and how it works.

Accepted File Formats for Upload

You can upload animations directly to LottieFiles in the following formats (maximum file size: 20MB):

• .lottie
• .json

Convert SVG to Lottie

You can upload SVG files (maximum file size: 20MB) and convert them into Lottie animations.

Convert Videos and Image Sequences to Lottie

LottieFiles supports converting the following video and image formats into Lottie animations (maximum file size: 10MB each):

• • GIF
  • PNG sequence (zipped)
  • MP4
  • WebM
  • MOV

Once converted, your animations will be saved in your workspace folder.
