What are the acceptable file formats for me to upload my animation to LottieFiles?

Accepted File Formats for Direct Upload

You can upload your animations to LottieFiles in the following formats, with a maximum file size of 20MB:

• .lottie
• .json

Converting Videos and Image Sequences to Lottie Animations

LottieFiles also supports converting various video and image formats into Lottie animations. To use this feature:

1. Open the upload window modal.
2. Click on "Convert video and image sequences to Lottie"
   
   
   

You can upload the following formats for conversion (maximum file size of 10MB each):

• GIF
• Animated PNG
• PNG sequence (zipped)
• MP4
• WebM
• MOV

These files will be converted into Lottie animations and stored in your workspace folder.
