Lottie AI plans and credits
How AI credits work, what each plan includes, and how to get more
Lottie AI uses AI credits to generate and refine animations. How many you have depends on your LottieFiles plan and workspace.

Free plan
Free workspaces get 10 Lottie AI generations in total. They don’t reset.
These generations are tracked separately from the shared AI credit balance. Using other AI tools, such as Motion Copilot or Raster to Vector, doesn’t count toward your 10 free generations.
Once you’ve used all 10, upgrade to a paid plan to keep using Lottie AI.
Paid plans
Pro and Team plans include a monthly AI credit allowance. Team+ and Enterprise plans have custom allowances based on your agreement.
Your included monthly credits reset each month. Unused monthly credits don’t roll over.
How credits are used
Credits are only deducted when an action successfully generates or refines an animation.

One shared credit balance
Your AI credits are shared across LottieFiles AI tools, including Lottie AI, Motion Copilot, and Raster to Vector. Using any of these tools deducts credits from the same balance, so keep this in mind when planning your usage.
If a generation fails or is cancelled
Unsuccessful generations don’t use up your credits or free generations:
- You stop a generation: Your credits are returned. On the Free plan, your generation is restored too. The stopped animation isn’t saved.
- You cancel a background generation: Your credits are returned.
- A generation fails: Your credits, or your Free plan generation, are restored automatically.
Buy more credits
If you need more credits, you can buy additional AI credits for your paid workspace.
- Purchased credits are added to your shared AI credit balance.
- Purchased credits don’t expire at the monthly reset. They stay available until you use them.
- Free workspaces can’t buy credits. Upgrade to a paid plan first.
