Lottie AI generation modes and quality options
Choose between speed and detail when generating an animation.
Before you generate, you can choose a generation mode and a fidelity option. Together they decide how detailed your animation is and how long it takes to generate.
Generation modes
Use the mode selector next to the send button to choose a mode. Turbo is selected by default.
- Turbo: Draws the animation in one pass. Best for simple ideas. Takes about 1–2 minutes.
- Quality: Plans the scene, then reviews and polishes it. Takes longer, about 3–15 minutes, but gives richer results.
Fidelity options
- Basic shapes: Draws everything with vector shapes. This is the fastest option and keeps the animation fully procedural.
- Illustrations: Adds drawn artwork when the prompt needs it. Adds about 1–3 minutes.
- Detailed: Adds drawn artwork with richer detail on key objects. Adds about 2–6 minutes. Only available in Quality mode.
