Upload Files to LottieFiles

Upload your files to your LottieFiles workspace to store, organize, and share them with your team.

Supported files

Type Formats
Animations Lottie (.json), dotLottie (.lottie)
Images PNG, JPEG, GIF, SVG, WebP
Source files AEP, AI, PSD

Upload limits

  • Max file size: 20 MB per file
  • Bulk upload: Up to 100 files at once
  • Folder upload: Upload a whole folder, and its structure is preserved

Upload from the web app

  1. Log in to LottieFiles and open your workspace.
  2. Go to the project or folder you want to upload to.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Select your files or folder.

Your files appear in that project once the upload finishes.

Upload from a plugin

Figma

  1. Open the LottieFiles plugin in Figma.
  2. Select what you want to upload.
  3. Click Upload and choose a workspace and project.

After Effects

  1. Open the LottieFiles plugin in After Effects.
  2. Select your composition.
  3. Click Upload and choose a workspace and project.

Storage

Uploads count toward your workspace storage. Once you reach your plan’s limit, you won’t be able to upload until you free up space or add more storage.
