Getting Started

The LottieFiles plugin lets you convert your After Effects animation into Lottie format files (.json and .lottie) so you can use them on web and mobile. It provides a smooth workflow for quickly iterating on animations and testing what’s supported across platforms.

You can also upload, test, and publish animations directly to your LottieFiles account. The plugin lets you search for existing Lottie animations and download their After Effects project files to customize them.

Check out the quick plugin walkthrough video below, or visit the LottieFiles plugin for AE page for more details.

Features

Preview Tab

View animations you’ve uploaded previously to your LottieFiles account, whether from the web or via the plugin.

Explore Tab

Browse and search all Lottie animations on LottieFiles directly within the plugin.

You can download both the Lottie file and its Adobe After Effects project (AEP) file. This gives you full control to redesign or tweak layers as needed.
