Marketplace Migration to Iconscout FAQs

LottieFiles acquired the asset market Iconscout, with the intent to offer our users access to an impressive library with over 4.1+ million design assets: Icons, Illustrations, 3D graphics, and Lottie animations.

LottieFiles will be the go-to place for all Lottie-related tooling and workflow. 

Iconscout will be the official marketplace for all design assets. 

Summary of changes:

Users: can discover Lottie Marketplace assets from both websites and purchase Premium Lottie Animations via Iconscout.com 

Contributors / Sellers: Starting January 1, 2022, Contributors will only be able to upload new Lottie assets for sale via Iconscout.com

Royalty advantage: Iconscout works on an all-access subscription pricing. It has an ever-growing subscriber base and more avenues of content discovery resulting in a higher royalty for contributors. Given Lottie Animations's complexity, these assets carry a higher weightage in royalty calculation.
