Education Plan

LottieFiles offers a free annual Education Plan for students and educators to support learning and creativity in educational settings.

Eligibility

The Education Plan is available to educators and students over 13 years old affiliated with educational institutions in the following countries:

USA, South Korea, Brazil, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Canada, Spain, Singapore, Australia, Mexico, Netherlands, Colombia, Argentina, India

Note: If your country is not listed, we are continuously working to expand our supported countries. Stay tuned for updates.

Important: You are not eligible if you already have an active paid subscription with LottieFiles. The Education Plan is only available for new users or those on the free tier.

What's included

The Education Plan provides one workspace upgraded to an annual Education Plan subscription with access to premium features (note: premium animations and file optimiser are not included). 

How to apply

  1. Log in to your LottieFiles account
  2. Go to https://lottiefiles.com/education/apply 
  3. Complete the application form and click Submit
  4. If you meet all the eligibility criteria, your existing free workspaces will be upgraded to the Education Plan for one year. If you don’t, your request will be declined.

 


What happens when the plan expires

If your Education Plan expires and is not renewed:

  • Your workspace downgrades to the free tier
  • You lose access to premium features
  • You can still download all your private files from the workspace

To renew after expiration:

Follow the same application and verification process. Once successfully verified, your Education Plan will be reactivated for another year.

Use restrictions

The Education Plan is strictly for personal and educational use only. Commercial use is not permitted.

What is commercial use?

Commercial use includes any activity intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation, such as:

  • Advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Products sold or distributed (digital or physical)
  • Monetized content (YouTube, social media with ad revenue)
  • Corporate communications and business presentations
  • Client projects for compensation
