Workspace administrators can configure these security features to align with your organization's policies, helping you prevent unauthorized access, protect sensitive information, and control external collaboration.
Key Security Settings
External Sharing
Control how content is shared outside your workspace:
- Enable external link creation – Users can generate shareable links for external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration with clients, partners, and other outside parties.
- Disable external link creation – Prevent users from creating external links to avoid accidental or unauthorized distribution of sensitive content. This is particularly important for protecting proprietary animations and files while maintaining compliance with data protection requirements.
Request to Join Workspace
Manage access requests from users outside your organization:
- Allow external requests – Individuals outside your
@{companydomain}can request workspace access through shared animation links. This option supports collaboration with external partners, freelancers, and clients. - Restrict external requests – Block unsolicited access attempts by requiring all new members to receive a direct invitation from your team. When disabled, only explicitly invited individuals can join your workspace.
Publish to Community
Control whether users can share content on public community platforms:
- Enable public publishing – Users can publish animations to the public domain, increasing visibility and community engagement.
- Disable public publishing – Prevent accidental exposure of proprietary or confidential content by restricting public sharing. This setting is essential for organizations handling sensitive data or internal assets.
AI Features
Manage access to AI-powered productivity tools:
- Enable AI tools – Users can access Motion Copilot, AI Prompt to Vector, and other AI features that streamline workflows and automate complex tasks.
- Disable AI tools – Restrict these features when AI-generated content requires additional oversight for quality assurance or data security purposes.
