Custom Session Duration for Enterprise Workspaces

LottieFiles Enterprise workspaces can set custom session durations to enhance security by controlling how long users remain logged in before re-authentication is required.

Default Session Duration

By default, LottieFiles maintains a 6-month session lifespan. Users won't be prompted to log in again for 6 months after their last login on their current browser or device.

Enterprise Custom Sessions

Enterprise workspaces can customize session duration based on their security requirements, ranging from one minute up to 6 months. Sessions can be configured in minutes, hours, days, or weeks.

How to Configure Custom Session Duration

Prerequisites: You must be an Enterprise admin to configure this setting.

  1. Log in to your LottieFiles account
  2. Navigate to Workspace Settings
  3. Go to Access & SSO Settings
  4. Locate Advanced Settings
  5. Enable custom session duration and enter your preferred value
  6. Click Save to apply your changes

What Happens After Configuration

Once you set a custom session duration:

  • All workspace users will be subject to the new session duration
  • Users will be prompted to re-authenticate when their session expires
  • Re-authentication is required when opening the Workflow app or switching workspaces if the session has expired
  • If a session expires during active work, users will be prompted to re-authenticate on their next action that requires server communication
