LottieFiles Enterprise workspaces have the ability to set custom session durations for enhanced security. This feature allows Enterprise admins to control how long users can remain logged in before being required to re-authenticate.
Default Behavior
By default, LottieFiles has a session lifespan of 6 months. This means users are not asked to log in again for 6 months after their last login on the current browser or device.
Enterprise Custom Session Duration
Enterprise workspaces can now set their own preferred session duration. This could be as short as 24 hours or as long as several weeks, depending on the organization's security requirements.
Setting Up Custom Session Duration (For Enterprise Admins)
Follow these steps to set up a custom session duration for your Enterprise workspace:
- Log in to your LottieFiles account as an Enterprise admin.
- Navigate to the Workspace Settings.
- Look for the "Access & SSO settings" section.
- Find the "Advanced settings" option.
- Enable the custom session duration by entering a custom value.
- Click "Save" or "Apply" to confirm your changes.
Once the custom session duration is set:
- All users in your workspace will be subject to this new session duration.
- Users will be prompted to re-authenticate when their session exceeds the configured duration.
- Re-authentication will be required when opening the Workflow app or switching workspaces if the session has expired.
