Raster to Vector Conversion

The Raster to Vector tool transforms raster images (PNG, JPG) into scalable vector graphics.

Accessing the Tool

  1. Open your Figma project
  2. Navigate to Menu > Plugins > LottieFiles for Figma
  3. Log into your LottieFiles account
  4. Click the Tools tab
  5. Select Raster to Vector

Converting Images

  1. Click the Convert button
  2. Select your image using one of these methods:
    • Select an existing image layer in your design, or
    • Click Browse to import a new raster image
  3. Click Convert
  4. Wait for processing (this may take a few seconds depending on image complexity)
  5. The vector graphic will be inserted into your Figma canvas

Tips for Better Conversions

  • Use high-contrast images for cleaner results
  • Start with simple images if you're new to the tool
  • Reduce image complexity if conversion fails
  • Use clear, well-defined shapes for best accuracy

Usage Limits

  • Free users: 3 conversion attempts
  • Paid users: Unlimited conversions
