Find deleted files
When you delete a file or folder, it will be removed from the project, and you will now only be able to access the file from the Recently Deleted folder.
Deleting the file will remove access for all collaborators and deactivate its asset link.
Files will remain in the Recently Deleted files folder for 30 days before they are deleted permanently.
How to find your deleted files?
- Click on the kebab menu icon ⋯ next to your workspace
- Select “View Recently Deleted”
Restore deleted files
You can restore any deleted file(s) within 30 days from the day of deletion. This will restore the permissions, comments, version history and the asset link to their original state.
Individual files contain within a deleted folder are not able to be restored, only the entire deleted folder can be restored.
Note: Any files or folders that have been deleted permanently cannot be restored.
How to restore a file/ folder
- Click on the kebab menu icon ⋯ next to your workspace
- Select “View Recently Deleted”
- Hover on the file and click on the kebab menu icon ⋮
- Click Restore to restore the file(s) to its original folder.

Delete files permanently
Files will remain in the Recently Deleted files folder for 30 days before they are deleted permanently. Or you can manually delete the files permanently from the folder too.
Note: Any files or folders that have been deleted permanently cannot be restored.
How to delete permanently
- Click on the kebab menu icon ⋯ next to your workspace
- Select “View Recently Deleted”.
- Hover on the file and click on the kebab menu icon ⋮
- Click Delete Permanently to delete the file(s) forever.
