Transfer Workspace Ownership

Only the current workspace owner can transfer ownership to another member. The new owner must approve the transfer before it takes effect.

How to Transfer Ownership

  1. Go to workspace settings and select the General tab
  2. Click Transfer Workspace Ownership
  3. Select an admin to transfer ownership to
    • If the recipient isn't an admin yet, promote them in the Members tab first
  4. Type the workspace name to confirm
  5. Click Transfer Ownership

The selected person will receive an email to approve the transfer. Once they accept, ownership will transfer and your role will automatically change to admin.

Important Considerations

  • The new owner must be an existing workspace admin
  • The new owner needs to approve the transfer via email
  • After transfer, update billing information to avoid payment issues
  • Your role automatically changes to admin once the transfer is complete
