Steps to Transfer Workspace Ownership
- Go to your workspace settings and click on the General tab.
- As the current owner, you will see an option to Transfer Workspace Ownership. Click on this option.
- Choose an admin to transfer ownership to.
- If the person you want to transfer ownership to is not already an admin, you can assign them as an admin in the Members tab. Refer to this article for guidance on managing user roles.
- Type in the workspace name to confirm.
- Note: The new owner will receive an email to approve the ownership transfer. Once they accept, your role will automatically be downgraded to admin.
- Click on the Transfer Ownership button to proceed.
- The new owner will receive an email to accept the ownership transfer request. Once they confirm, the transfer will be complete.
Important Note

Only the current owner of a workspace can transfer ownership to another team member.

If the current owner has left the company, please contact support@lottiefiles.com to request an ownership transfer.
- The new owner will need to update the billing information to ensure there are no issues with future billing.
