Free Animation License (Lottie Simple License)

Free animations on LottieFiles are available under the Lottie Simple License, which allows you to:

✅ Download and use for free 
✅ Use commercially - Allowed in business projects, websites, and apps
✅ Modify and edit - Create derivative works
✅ Distribute and publish - Use in your products and services
✅ No attribution required - Though strongly encouraged

❌ What you cannot do:

• Cannot compile or scrape animations to create a competing service
• Cannot redistribute as standalone animation files
• Cannot resell the original animation files

Attribution: While not required, it's strongly encouraged to credit the original creator. If you include attribution, it should be visible to end users.

Premium Animation License

With a Pro or Enterprise subscription, premium animations include:

✅ All rights of free animations
✅ Access to exclusive premium content
✅ Extended commercial use rights
✅ Priority support for licensing questions

Your Own Uploaded Animations

For animations you create or upload:

• Public uploads: You retain ownership but share under the Lottie Simple License
• Private uploads: Full control over usage and access
